I Don’t Just Understand Anxiety Professionally. I Know What It Feels Like.
There was a time in my life when anxiety wasn’t something I studied or helped other people overcome.
It was something I lived.
I’ve experienced debilitating anxiety and panic attacks firsthand. I know what it’s like when your mind and body seem to have a life of their own… when logic doesn’t seem to help… when you start avoiding things you once took for granted… and when part of you wonders whether you’ll ever feel completely like yourself again.
I also know what can happen to your confidence when fear begins making decisions for you.
My own journey through anxiety became part of a much bigger exploration into how our minds work, why we develop patterns that can seem beyond our conscious control, and most importantly…
How those patterns can change.
Today, I bring together professional training, decades of experience working with people, and something no qualification alone can provide:
I’ve walked through it myself.

I know anxiety from both sides of the chair.
More Than 25 Years Helping People Create Change
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with individuals, leaders and organisations to help people change the patterns that keep them stuck and create meaningful change in their lives.
My work draws from hypnotherapy, NLP, coaching, meditation, breathwork and other approaches to personal transformation.
But I’ve never believed that people should be defined by their problems.
Anxiety isn’t who you are.
A phobia isn’t who you are.
A panic attack isn’t who you are.
They’re experiences and patterns that may be affecting your life — sometimes profoundly — but they don’t have to become your identity.
My role isn’t to tell you who you should become.
It’s to help you access the resources already within you so you can begin responding differently.
Why I Specialise in Anxiety, Fears & Phobias
Fear has an extraordinary ability to make our world smaller.
You stop getting on planes.
You avoid certain roads.
You turn down opportunities.
You dread speaking in front of people.
You avoid places or situations where you might feel trapped.
You worry about having another panic attack.
And sometimes you simply stop trusting yourself.
The frustrating part is that consciously you may know your fear doesn’t make sense.
You can tell yourself you’re safe.
You can try positive thinking.
You can reason with yourself.
And yet your body can still respond as though the threat is completely real.
That’s because knowing something consciously and feeling it automatically are not always the same thing.
This is one of the reasons I’m particularly interested in helping people with anxiety, fears and phobias.
Rather than simply asking, “What’s wrong with you?”
I’m far more interested in asking:
“What is your mind trying to protect you from — and can we help it learn a different response?”
My Approach
Every person is different, so I don’t believe in forcing everyone through exactly the same process.
Depending on your needs, our work may draw upon hypnotherapy, NLP, coaching and other practical techniques designed to help you understand and change the patterns underlying your experience.
I’m also trained in RARM – the Rapid Anxiety Reduction Method, a specialised approach for working with anxiety that adds another valuable tool to the way I help clients experiencing anxiety, fear and related challenges.
My training in RARM gives me an additional specialised approach I can draw upon alongside hypnotherapy, NLP, coaching and my broader experience when working with anxiety.
The aim isn’t to fight your mind.
It’s to work with it.
Because when the underlying response begins to change, something else often changes with it:
You begin trusting yourself again.
And that’s where confidence starts returning.
From Fear to Freedom
Ultimately, this work isn’t just about getting rid of anxiety or overcoming a phobia.
It’s about what becomes possible when fear is no longer making your decisions for you.
Getting on the plane.
Driving where you want to drive.
Speaking when you have something to say.
Walking into a room without worrying about what everyone thinks.
Sleeping without your mind racing.
Taking opportunities you once avoided.
Feeling calmer in your own body.
Living more of your life.
That’s the outcome I’m interested in.
Not simply helping you manage fear…
But helping you rediscover the freedom and confidence that fear may have taken from you.
If You’re Struggling, Let’s Talk
If anxiety, panic, fear or a phobia has been limiting your life, you don’t have to convince me that what you’re experiencing is real.
I understand.
And I also know that how you feel today doesn’t necessarily have to determine how you feel tomorrow.
If you’d like to find out whether my approach may be suitable for you, the next step is simply to have a conversation.
